Mark Hughes is a Professional Photographer and formerly a Professional Forensic Engineer by trade. He is an accredited Photographer through the Professional Photographers of Canada. Mark is a versatile and award-winning photographer. Mark primarily specializes in portraits of pets. Mark specializes in capturing the moments that make memories.

Mark has photographed hundreds of dogs and cats as a volunteer photographer for the Greater Edmonton Animal Rescue Society and the Edmonton Humane Society. Mark’s images have been used for adoption profiles as well as marketing and promotional materials. Mark also used to regularly contributed articles on photography to the website Digital Photography School, one of the largest photography resource sites on the internet. He also has a podcast, the Connect2 Podcast
At FureverPhotos, we have a long history of giving back to the rescue community. Mark has volunteered with GEARS since 2015, taking the majority of the photographs for the animals in care, which has led to astounding results in finding animals’ homes.
